discovery refried beans: the best in the business
food discovery of the month (?)--
Discovery: Taste of the Americas Refried Beans.
I am not usually one to pose with my beans, but special beans call for special measures.
open a can of these beauties (using the efficient easy-pull lid) and observe: partially mashed, but still discernable mexican beans, mixed with garlic and chile.
The texture: what any toothless texan could hope for, and a little bit of bite for the rest of us. The taste: beany and spicy and uderly perfect for everything from burritos to nachos to 7 layer dip.
