jude, david, and I were stumped as to what to make for dinner. each of us breaking out potatoes inspired me to do more.
first, we made a shitload of mashed potatoes with carmelized onions and butter. then, i saw mince on my shelf, and was inspired to make meatloaf (something the brits had never heard of!).
Ground beef, minced onions, carrots, tomato paste, mustard, s/p, cider vinegar. covere with strips of bacon and a bit of brown sugar. use nasty scallions from fridge for garnish.
