the end is near...
as my time in edinburgh comes to an end, so does "scotticus cooks" at http://kleimanscott.blogspot.com. but do not fret. i'm getting another one.
the plan is to keep adding any new and exciting edinburgh food experiences at blogger until i retun home. at that pooint, i'll make the move of everything to the new blog: scotticus blogicus (there's already stuff there now). see you there.

so it's my new blog. again. i feel like i say "it's my new [insert techie thing here]" a lot. but i think/hope this one is going to be relatively permanent. after starting on blogger (highly reccomended if you want to enter the blogging field), i saw that middlebury was now opening movable type weblogs on its servers, and i got excited. what's the difference, you ask?
i don't know that i can answer than very well, but essentially (and to the best of my knowledge), movable type allows much, MUCH more customization than blogger did and more features; for me, i wanted to expand the scope of my edinburgh food blog to other things i felt inclined to write about; mt allows me to organize my blog with categories in ways that blogger does not. otherwise, i am using them much the same.
