SCENE:
one evening, fall 2004: scott, laying in bed, trying to fall asleep. He tosses, he turns, he turns on the light and picks up "the book of jewish food" that his mother sent him. he opens to a page discussing bread. he resolves to make challah the following day.
following day: scott makes challah. it's is ok, not great. not "egg-gy" enough or enough salt, and shiny eggwash didnt work.
that afternoon: scott has stomach ache from eating way too much challah. blogs about the challah experience.
END SCENE.
