vino rosso bubbly-o

i wish this picture had come out better- it was the first sparkling vino rosso i've had, and i wish i new what it was called.

it was somewhat of a weird combination, the fizz of the bubbles with the girth of red. i don't know that i was drinking it in the right setting; i can imagine it working nicely with 'red wine' cheeses (???).
